Student representative elected as senator at the KTU Senate

May 7th was the day for the KTU SA extraordinary electoral conference, in which a student representative was elected as a senator at the KTU Senate. 3 students have applied for this position. The first-year student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Design Kristė Skaudaitė was elected by the majority of the voters.

The elected candidate seeks to contribute to the Study Committee or the Committee of Science and Innovation, as these committees are the most interesting to her. She revealed that she feels responsible for the place in which she studies and wants for others to care about it also. Kristė promised to pursue the goals of the University, taking into account the needs of the students.

The new senator will be joining nine student senators elected at the regular election conference on March 23th: KTU SA president Lukas Kijauskas, Akvilė Montrimaitė, Aurelija Valantonytė, Gediminas Marcinkevičius, Joana Jasilionytė, Jovita Burokaitė, Marta Talandytė, Samanta Bulovaitė and Simonas Misevičius.
